The Rainbow Welcome Circle at UUCTS periodically selects a 501©3 non-profit for Special Purpose Collections. Suggestions for recipients are discussed and voted on during our January meeting. To be effective and to maximize our resources, our Social Justice Outreach acts locally and follows a 3-M rule:

• Be Meaningful- This may mean longer-term engagement to improve the lives of our intended recipients.
• Be Measurable- It is important that we know what is working, how people are being helped, and how to improve.
• Be Manageable- We do not want our aspirations to exceed our capability to manage and sustain our efforts.
