In 2017, band leader Peter Grace and his band-mates, formed a coalition called Musicians United for Social Causes and Change (MUSC) whose primary purpose was to sponsor fundraisers and to perform for causes that are important to them. Since the creation of MUSC, The Pineapple Scruffs have performed for almost 20 fundraising events.
